Our Blackstone Bed and Breakfast was completely renovated between Oct 2021 and Feb 2022! Our guest rooms offer a unique way to stay during your visit to the heart of Southside Virginia. Seven days a week, guests are treated to self service breakfast items, to include fresh fruit, granola bars and coffee or tea to go.
Room 1
On the second floor is a sunny room filled with memories of years past. Sunshine fills the room with natural light. You will enjoy reading a book in the comfortable rocking chair or writing a note at the desk. It is graced with an antique full sized bed and private bath with shower. Room 1 can sleep one or two persons.
Room 2
On the second floor is a room commonly referred to as the “Wicker Room.” It is characterized by an inviting queen sized bed, small wicker settee, two matching chairs and a flat screen smart TV. Its windows face south and southwest overlooking Main Street. It has a private bath and deep closet. Room 2 can sleep one or two persons.
Room 3
Occupying the third story of the Inn, this room serves to comfortably provide luxury Blackstone lodging with a king sized bed and sitting area with period chairs for reading or napping, two rocking chairs and ottoman, a small dormitory size refrigerator, as well as a desk for writing. A second sitting area offers a small table and 2 café chairs for snacking, a hide-away sofa-bed, swivel chair, television, and books and magazines for your reading pleasure. The suite’s bathroom boasts a claw-footed tub with shower. This suite is ideal for honeymooners wanting to get away from it all and because of its sleeping accommodations, is also ideal for families up to four persons. Rates for this rooms are based on double occupancy. Additional charges for 3 or more will apply.
Room 4
Located on the second floor with windows facing west and northwest. The room is showcased by an original mantel piece and features a queen size bed, a rocking chair, wing-backed chair, antique dresser, and a charming vanity. The room also includes a flat-screen TV-DVD and private bath with shower. Room 4 can sleep one or two persons.
Room 5
This room that has been called "The Pink Lady" for over a decade is characterized as a cozy space featuring an antique double size bed, chair, and a secretary. It boasts a large bathroom complete with claw-footed bathtub with shower. Room 5 can sleep one or two persons.
